Tried the new Bounty Hunter 4" (Gold Nugget) coil in the local park today. Very good at isolating one target from the next where there are multiple targets nearby. Last week I tried my new 10" Magnum coil in the same park. Tested both in the same areas I had previously searched and found more coins (clad) with both. Deeper targets with the magnum and shallower for the most part with the 4" but in trashier areas. I recently read an article that stated you don't need to buy extra coils but I find the flexibility is nice to have. I plan to use the 10" in areas with few targets (fields and beach) to cover more ground and depth, the 8" (original) in areas that have a moderate number of targets and the 4" when I hit a trashy area. When you find something with a 4" coil you know you're on top of it My Discovery 3300 is made by bounty hunter and most BH coils work with it as well as some Fisher coils. I think I have all the coils I'll need now
