I recently purchased the Deteknix Wireless AT Pro/Gold Headphones. They have the AT Pro type audio connector and a 60 millisecond lag time. When using a wireless headset you need to take into account the lag time which is the time it takes for the sound to go from the transmitter to the headset. If it's too slow as in some of the less expensive transceivers which have 300 millisecond (almost a third of a second) lag time then your coil is well past the target by the time you hear it. With these you get a very accurate response. Well I tried out these headphones for the first time and although the audio quality and response time were excellent, as was the battery life (was out for about 6 hours), the ear pads kept falling off! They are held in by flimsy plastic clips which fit into a slot with a twist. It doesn't take much of a twist for them to come loose. Taking them off while holding the ear pads (naturally) or handling them to set the controls is enough to make the ear pads come loose and fall off. I will be returning these. Thankfully CTS is a very good dealer and I should have not problems there. Also, while inspecting them with the ear pads off I noticed there was a fine mesh over the speaker (to keep out dirt) on the one ear piece but it was missing on the other ear piece. The headphones in my opinion are of very poor quality. I contacted Deteknix and their response was to fix them myself with some double sided tape! Attachments:
