Hey all, i found this last year and still cant quite figure it out. Its a 1935 george one cent but its a silver color. And it has a hole at the top presumably someone made a pendant out of it but still i dont think its silver. It is slightly magnetic...

Neat I wounder if someone plated it. Is the inside of the hole siver as well or penny coloured?

i agree with beth seems silver plated its kinda weird that they would silverplate a penny it may also be the soil conditions turned it a weird color i once dug a penny that you would swear was gold

Looks more like it was nickel plated - not difficult to do.
