Hi,
I recently lost my ring because of cold weather and it fell into slushy snow. Do metal detectors work well with snow and cold weather?
Is there a recommended device? I saw a few on The Source website, but they are online only purchases. I was hoping I can get one from some place in Ottawa that can demo one for me.
Thanks!

I should add that that's a serious offer to help metal detecting isn't a difficult hobby but it takes practices to understand what the detector is telling you when you go looking formissing things. The Bountyhunter 2200 is a great starter machine. You can buy them at Canadian Tire.
