Hello everybody.
First I would like to apologize for missing the dig I really wanted to come.
Secondly I still managed to get out for a hour or two just not with the gang so here are my solo forum dig finds.
So I searched for a hour and all to show was a 1953, 1960 and 1963 penny and felt like the day was a dud.
All of a sudden I found a 1893 American Indian head penny! (not shown too rough to make out on camera)
I was all stoked so I gave up for the day...
Only I got bored and went back into the water. Within 20 minutes all the finds in the pictures emerged.
Top Left: Class ring CMHS 1970. Pretty cool, pretty silver. No idea what highschool that could be...
Top middle: Rim shot. Always fun to find old shells.
Top right: No idea just a cool hunk of steel.
Middle: Very sparkly broach (pretty sure it is costume but adds color to the collection)
Middle right: Some sort of seal that has cryovac written on it. Used in food processing but still a weird fun find.
Bottom circle things: These are actually one of the better finds. I will let you look it up for yourself but the wording says VICTOR TALKING MACH CO and look for the EXHIBITION model and you will see what this was used for.
FINALLLY: As a coin collector I have to put this in my OMG heart attack pile! The picture is awful but it is a 1902 Canadian quarter! Not only that but it is preserved to the point that I can make out every detail on the tails side crystal clear. The heads side is also in very good condition. In my non professional opinion I would classify it as a EF-40 or higher if I can get some luster back!
Anyway I have to get going with no time to proofread so excuse my rant!
