Hello everybody, as promised the silver found on our Mooneys bay hunt! Old toy cap-gun round as well that I thought was pretty awesome! Also you cannot tell from the picture but the ring has a cats eye stone and I am not 100% sure but I think it is a moonstone. Not very valuable but some fun research.

Twins haha. I can now post all my finds on it for size/weight reference! Perfect forum tool and much better than the old guess the weight routine.

Yes, I just unpacked it on Friday(from the move) and was gone all weekend. I have a spoon to go with it, I tried polishing it lightly to tell what kind of metal it is but maybe you guys will have some insight. It originally looked silver to me but at a closer look it is starting to look more copper/brass.

Likely was silver plated with copper base?

It was not rusting the the way a silver plated copper object would. However, I found it at a shoreline so perhaps the constant sand rubbing would have "cleaned" the rust off?
