The object with the 3 rings looks like a fired mini ball bullet from a black powder rifle. And I'm pretty sure that coin is a penny (lol)

LOL Correct, Wrong photo was posted. (Having all kinds of fun) Apple, So it's suppose to be a metal button. On back= S&R registered 28 june 1849, Stamped on back unicorn on left, palm tree center and zebra on right. Front= very small metal cap wood circle around that Dime size, then scrolly design on outer edge. Can't find it anywhere on internet. With all the info you would like to think its posted somewhere. Will try to get better photo posted to-night. Gottadigit.

Yes you are right wabbit - now that you mention it I recognize it from my school trips into the sugar bush Back when they hung buckets (not a line from each tree like today).
